Waypoint Centre for Mental Health Care is a 315‑bed academic and teaching hospital located on the shores of Georgian Bay. The centre provides specialized mental health, addiction, and geriatric care.

The Manager of Rehabilitation Services is seeking a casual Personal Care Specialist. The purpose of the position is to provide therapeutic hairstyling and hygiene services for all patients/clients, promoting self‑awareness, self‑care, and wellbeing.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide certified professional hairstyling and basic esthetic care.
• Maintain a positive and therapeutic relationship when teaching patients/clients hygiene and grooming techniques such as manicures and shampooing.
• Develop, facilitate and collaborate with other disciplines in the delivery of programs.
