PhD Position in Cognitive Computational Neuroscience
Department of Psychology, Faculty of Social Science, University of Copenhagen (UCPH), Denmark. The position should be filled by 1st of October 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter.
Project
The PhD student will join the research project A Neuronal Mechanism for Auditory Imagination, funded by the Lundbeck Foundation and supervised by Dr. David R. Quiroga‑Martinez. The project seeks to uncover the neural basis of auditory imagination, its variability in the general population, and its dysfunction in schizophrenia, using EEG, intracranial recordings, TMS and cognitive modelling.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute experiments with scalp EEG, intracranial EEG (single‑neuron recordings), TMS and cognitive modelling.
