The Physician Assistant will practice under supervision in the field of pediatrics, focusing on infectious diseases specific to tuberculosis (TB). The scope of practice includes assessment, diagnosis, management, and follow‑up of children and young adults (0‑20 years) exposed to, diagnosed with or treated for all forms of TB in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Responsibilities include conducting history and physical examinations specific to TB, ordering, arranging and interpreting diagnostic testing to confirm or refute TB, counselling patients and families about diagnosis, treatment options and expected follow‑up, monitoring prescription completion and side eff...
