The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is recruiting for a 1.0 FTE position to be filled by a Physician Assistant (PA) at the Peter Lougheed Centre (PLC) to work as part of our Obstetrics and Gynecology service. A completed PA degree is required for eligibility to apply.

Description

The Peter Lougheed Centre (PLC) is a community hospital located in Calgary’s North East quadrant and serves a diverse patient population. The PLC has a very busy Labour/Delivery unit and delivers over 6,000 babies each year. The PLC also manages a very busy Gynecology service (elective and emergency surgeries).

Responsibilities

• Work Monday to Friday (8‑hour workday) to support the OB/GYN team and patients admitted to our service.
• Assist with c‑sections on Labour/Delivery or in Gynecology surgeries.
