Job Description

The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is seeking a motivated Physician Assistant/Clinical Assistant for a full-time term position in Mental Health, Rural Telehealth and Virtual Ward. Annual hours: 2080. Length of term may be adjusted (extended or shortened). If shortened, a minimum notice of two weeks will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform, order, and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic investigations/interventions.
• Perform history and physical examinations in a variety of settings, including the emergency department and wards, and follow patients in pre-, peri-, and post-operative wards and other clinical settings.
• Attend clinical and educational rounds.
• Maintain standard-of-practice recordings of all patient encounters, including dictation or electronic medical records when available.
