Position Summary
A new team at Willow Square Continuing Care Centre in Fort McMurray requires a part time (0.5) Physiotherapist as part of the multidisciplinary team for a 10-bed short stay rehabilitation unit. Physical Therapist I (Physiotherapist) is responsible for providing comprehensive assessments, consultation, and treatment programs for clients. This position provides an opportunity to make an impact as an integral part of a very supportive team that you will communicate and collaborate with. You will be the primary therapist and demonstrate initiative and leadership. You will be expected to have an active part in developing the program within a patient and family focused provider. You will use evidence-based practices as you coordinate and develop rehabilitation plans for client endorsing the Alberta Health Services values and providing direction to a Therapy Assistant.
