Planificateur(trice) de production (junior)/ Junior Production planner

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Planning Supervisor, the Production Planner works closely with Customer Service and a few production cells. He is responsible for the development and implementation of the production plan.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop the short- and medium-term production plan based on production capacity, customer orders and sales forecasts. Share and follow up on the plan with Production Team Leaders
• Ensure a constant link between inventory control, purchasing and logistics in order to meet customer requirements
• Manage Production Orders
• Analyze backlog and production cell capacity to determine human resource requirements
• Set up MRP system data
• Ensure the transition from parts in development to production
• Prepare lists of required materials
