JOB FUNCTIONS AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Rotating Equipment Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various types of rotating machinery, including pumps, compressors, fans, gearboxes, control valves, and diaphragm pumps. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of equipment in industrial settings.
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on rotating equipment.
Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs as necessary.
Install and align machinery and equipment according to specifications.
Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
Ability to use precision measuring tools, dial calipers, inside / outside mics and dial indicators
Ability to perform precision alignment
Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve equipment issues promptly
