PLUMBER/MECHANIC

Key Activities

Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, the incumbent is responsible for performing a range of duties including but not limited to inspect, repair and maintain plumbing or mechanical systems, perform trouble shooting and emergency repairs, accompany inspectors and coordinate contractors, maintain cleanliness of work areas, care for tools and equipment, prepare required reports, and perform other duties as required.

The incumbent also performs emergency work and performs other tasks, as requested.

Skill Requirements

• Successful completion of a high school diploma;
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a related plumber position or a related millwright position;
• Must possess and provide proof of a valid Plumber Certificate of Qualifications or a valid Construction Millwright Certificate of Qualifications;
• Good organizational skills, initiative and autonomy;
