Position Overview

Title: Poultry Farm Worker – NOC 8431 (Chicken and Turkey Catcher)
Job Code: 8431
Salary: $19.03 per hour for a 40‑hour week or piecework, whichever is greater. Overtime available.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and transfer crates, supplies, farm produce, livestock and poultry.
• Operate and maintain poultry‑related machinery and equipment.
• Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry.
• Follow food safety, security, and animal bio‑security procedures.
• Clean and disinfect work sites and poultry equipment.
• Travel to other farm locations as required at the employer's expense.
