Power Systems Consultant

Overview

A Snapshot of Your Day. This role focuses on two core areas: advanced Power System Analysis & Simulation and the development of specialized Technical Solutions. This structure ensures the delivery of comprehensive technical studies and strategic advice to transmission operators, utilities, and developers. The ideal candidate will be a Senior Professional with significant experience in power system simulation tools (e.g., PSS/E, PSCAD, TARA, TSAT, Power Factory) and a deep understanding of grid codes and renewable energy integration.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced power system studies including load flow, dynamic and voltage stability, short‑circuit, and protection coordination analyses using industry‑standard simulation tools.
• Develop, validate, and execute detailed system models in PSS/E, PSCAD/EMTDC, and DigSilent PowerFactory to support grid interconnection, harmonic, TRV, and transient studies.
