Regular clinic hours are from 08:00 – 20:00 Monday to Friday and 08:00 – 17:00 Saturday/Sunday. Physicians are required to participate in the on‑call rota for the hospital, community and long‑term care facility.

Job Description

Canora is seeking a full time Primary Health Care Physician to join their team at the Canora Health and Wellness Centre, a modern, well‑organized and fully equipped clinic located in the Canora Hospital. The clinic is comprised of 4 physicians and 1 Nurse Practitioner who provide primary health care services 7 days a week, with 24 hour emergency services, using a Collaborative Emergency Care (CEC) model. There is a focus on an integrated team approach to client care with multidisciplinary rounds, home care, therapies, public health nursing, mental health and addictions, chronic disease management and dietitian services being provided on an outpatient/visiting service...
