Principal Mining Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and driven Principal Mining Engineer to join our Toronto-based team. This is a leadership role within our global consulting practice, responsible for overseeing technical delivery, guiding a small team of engineers, and supporting mining projects across multiple international jurisdictions. The successful candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strong project management capabilities, and a collaborative mindset suited to a consulting environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a small team of mining engineers, providing technical guidance and professional development support
• Manage and contribute to the delivery of global mining projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction
• Provide subject matter expertise in mine design, planning, and optimization (open pit and/or underground)
• Review and sign off on technical reports, studies (PEA, PFS, FS), and operational plans
