Principal Product Manager, Global Payments Platform and Controls

Your Role As a Product Manager on the Payment Controls team, you will own the systems and strategy that make Zip the safest and most seamless way to pay vendors across tens of billions in annual spend. You will drive product development across payment method collection and management, risk and fraud prevention, customer payment onboarding, currency management, and payment compliance. You will partner closely with Engineering, Design, Payment Operations, and cross‑functional teams to proactively mitigate payment fraud, ensure smooth and secure payment onboarding, and manage payment compliance with confidence at enterprise scale.

You Will

Drive the product strategy and roadmap to reduce payment risk – including Zip’s AI‑powered fraud detection system that flags risky invoices directly to customers.

Own bank account verification – expanding provider coverage, increasing geographic reach, and ensuring reliable real‑time verification across customer segments.
