Become the Manager of Privacy, Records and Information Management at the Law Society of British Columbia, leading privacy and compliance efforts in a hybrid work format.
This full-time, permanent position in Vancouver involves heading the Privacy, Records, and Information Management team. You will ensure compliance with FIPPA, oversee records systems, and mentor staff in effective practices. Your leadership will play a vital role in boosting the organization’s commitment to transparency and integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the PRIM team to maximize operational effectiveness
• Manage compliance with privacy and records legislation
• Design and maintain documentation policies
• Address access to information requests and compliance issues
• Oversee digitization projects and disaster planning
Requirements:
• Master’s in Library Science or related fields
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a records role
