Product Control Analyst

Overview

Looking for a Project Control Analyst to support P&L reporting, analysis and controls within the Equity Derivatives business. This role sits in Product Control and works closely with trading desks to understand and explain daily P&L.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily P&L reporting and reconciliation (actual vs. flash vs. predicted)
• Analyze and explain P&L drivers and variances
• Perform GL reconciliation and balance sheet substantiation
• Execute Independent Price Verification (IPV)
• Investigate breaks and ensure strong financial controls
• Partner with traders, risk and finance teams

Must Haves

• Experience in Product Control, Fund Accounting or Capital Markets Finance
• Strong knowledge of equity derivatives (options, futures, etc.)
• Understanding of full lifecycle accounting & P&L
• CFA Level I & II completed
• Strong Excel skills
