Production Floor Safety Coordinator

Be the driving force for safety as a Production Floor Safety Coordinator at Donald's Fine Foods in Chilliwack. Your focus will be on practical safety operations and employee engagement on the production line.
In this vital role, you'll support safety management for a team of approximately 200 employees. Reporting to the Health & Safety Manager and Plant Manager, your hands-on involvement will be critical for ensuring the success of safety initiatives on-site. You will build trust with workers while maintaining compliance and enhancing safety awareness throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular workplace safety inspections and ensure follow-ups
• Assess hazards related to new tasks and equipment changes
• Enforce WHMIS, lockout/tagout, and plant safety programs
• Coordinates response to workplace incidents with documentation
