Purpose: May lead a small team of planners to ensure that production is completed as efficiently as possible.

• Leads preparation of schedules and ensures timely completion of work orders for manufacturing processes.
• Leads customer service and inventory results for their assigned codes.
• Leads analysis of product demand, sales patterns, forecasts, production specifications and plant capacity data.
• Identifies raw material and component requirements for production from engineering and production.
• Monitors planning modules or production planning systems and related information.
