Production Team Leader

Position Purpose

Responsible for production throughput, maintenance, quality, safety, training and continuous improvement within our production area. Supports process improvements and Manufacturing Excellence initiatives. Ensure only quality product is delivered to internal and external customers on time.

Essential Functions

• Effectively lead, supervise, motivate and provide support to a team of employees within any of the production departments. Coach and counsel employees.
• Respond to employee concerns.
• Administer company rules and the collective agreement.
• Execute the established quality procedures and programs as required with regards to production throughput, quality, safety, training, housekeeping and continuous improvement, maintenance and teamwork.
• Ensure compliance of the quality system elements in your area of supervision.
• Communicate the structure of the QOS to employees (MOS).
