BGC Okanagan is hiring a part-time Program Leader in Vernon, BC, for our dynamic School Age Childcare program. Make a difference in children's lives through engaging after-school activities.
As a Program Leader, you will curate and implement diverse programs to enrich kids' experiences at Alexis Park Club. You will also oversee their well-being, mentor the activity team, and communicate with families effectively. Building trust and relationships with children is crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and lead quality recreational and educational programs
• Ensure children’s safety and health supervision
• Mentor and support Activity Leaders in programming
• Build relationships with children and family members
• Provide transportation for children using Club vans
Requirements:
• Educational background in childcare or equivalent experience
• One year of relevant recent work experience
• First Aid Certificate and Food Safe are desirable
