Project Buyer

Description

Reporting to the Supervisor, Procurement, the Project Buyer is a site-based role responsible for executing the timely and effective procurement of materials, equipment, and services to support project activities and day-to-day requirements. The role operates independently with minimal guidance in a fast-paced, demanding project environment and requires strong judgement, fully developed knowledge, responsiveness, and practical procurement experience, with a focus on securing the best overall value for Ledcor and its clients.

Working closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, Project Controls, and other project stakeholders, the Project Buyer ensures procurement activities align with project priorities, schedule, and site needs, providing guidance and advice as needed. The role also maintains compliance with company and client policies, procedures, and ethical sourcing requirements, including modern slavery standards.
