Project Manager

Overview

Hastings District Council is delivering one of the most significant capital programmes in its history, driven by long‑term growth, resilience, and recovery following Cyclone Gabrielle. We are looking for experienced Project Managers to join our Infrastructure Group. In this dynamic role, you will lead the delivery of transport or Three Waters projects, coordinating design, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities to keep our district moving and thriving.

Responsibilities

You will ensure that schedules, budgets, risks and quality requirements are tightly managed and maintain clear communication between consultants, contractors, stakeholders and internal teams to keep everyone aligned and projects progressing smoothly.

Qualifications

• Preferably hold Bachelor level qualifications in Engineering, Project Management or similar disciplines.
• Have engineering and/or project management experience.
