Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and hands‑on Safety Coordinator to support the safe startup and commissioning of a manufacturing facility. This role will play a critical part in establishing a strong safety foundation, supporting contractor management, startup readiness, and implementation of health and safety systems as the facility transitions into operations.

This is a 7 to 9 month contract, 100% onsite.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safety oversight for construction, installation activities, and implementation of safety controls.
• Ensure the safety performance and compliance of contractors, vendors, and external trades working on site, including orientation, monitoring, and permit controls.
• Partner with the Site B Project Coordinator to ensure all work is conducted in accordance with project safety requirements, risk controls, and applicable regulations.
