Property Accountant

 Summary

PenEquity Inc is seeking to hire a Property Accountant. The Property Accountant will be a key member of the accounting/finance team and report to the Manager of Accounting.

Hybrid in Downtown Core.

Responsibilities:

• Produce monthly Financial Statements according to IFRS/ASPE or as specified by client policy/requirements.
• Provide supplementary reporting as required by the client.
• Utilize budgets and other tools to analyze variances.
• Reconcile, analyze, and maintain all balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of supporting documentation.
• Prepare and record monthly recoveries adjustments (CAM and realty tax).
• Ensure all HST and other legislated taxes and assessments are reconciled and remitted in a timely manner.
• Support sites in tenant invoicing, reconciliation and related accounting inquiries.
