Psychiatric Nurse- Job Share

Position Overview

Under the direction of the Supervisor Interdisciplinary Practice, the incumbent may work as the sole professional registered practitioner in the community to deliver specialized services to individuals with mental illness and/or other related conditions, and serve as a point of contact for physicians locally and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical direction and front‑line services in the community.
• Develop care plans, conduct case management, hold conferences, perform initial and ongoing assessments, administer and monitor medications, and conduct crisis interventions.
• Lead and mentor team members.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Nursing (or equivalent) with experience in mental health, or an undergraduate degree in Psychiatric Nursing and a minimum of 3 years experience as a psychiatric nurse.
