Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and fostering a relationship with our suppliers and vendors. You will also oversee the implementation of the supply and production strategies, and mentor and develop a team of Purchasing professionals.
Responsibilities
- Procure parts and materials at negotiated rate
- Develop a supply and production plan to ensure timely delivery to our customers
- Oversee Logistics at a corporate level
- Create and monitor the performance of the purchasing strategy
- Foster supplier relationships and support current vendor development
- Oversee and support our purchasing staff
Qualifications
- Strong negotiation skills
- 3 - 10 years' of purchasing experience
- Proven people leader - ability to develop, train, mentor
- Ability to lead with numbers, metrics, KPIs
