Purchasing Specialist (5 years experience) Location: Remote Experience: 5 years About the Role: We are seeking a Senior Program Buyer with strong experience in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation, and cost leadership . This role will act as a key interface between suppliers and internal teams, ensuring cost, timing, and quality targets are achieved across programs. Key Responsibilities: Lead sourcing strategy and execution from RFQ through supplier nomination Drive evaluation and negotiation of supplier quotes (piece cost & tooling cost) Ensure alignment on commercial terms, cost targets, and EDDs Act as SME in cost analysis , supporting engineering and leadership Lead Design to Cost (DTC) initiatives with cross-functional teams Perform benchmarking and market analysis to ensure competitiveness Manage supplier relationships and performance (cost, quality, delivery) Identify and implement cost reduction strategies Support program reviews and present to senior stakeholders Mentor ju...
