Description
Job purpose: The Purchasing Supervisor plays a key leadership role within the procurement function, overseeing the daily operations and performance of the Procurement Analysts team. This position supports organizational growth by enhancing procurement processes, strengthening supplier performance, and fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily operations of the Procurement Analysts team, including workload distribution, task prioritization, and issue resolution.
- Provides coaching and performance feedback, supports employee development, oversees onboarding and training of new team members, and fosters a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
- Collaborate with the Category Management team to monitor and improve supplier performance, procurement efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
