Queen's Journal of Ethnic and Racial Studies Executive Team

Overview

Queen's Journal of Ethnic and Racial Studies aims to give students a chance to engage in topics related to existing institutional systems of oppression and racial advocacy that will help enhance their academic perspectives.

Applications will be available until a competitive pool of candidates is established.

Volunteer Position(s)

• Senior Editor (2 Positions): Supports editors-in-chief in administrative and management of editing team. Ensuring quality and consistency among editors and providing mentorship.
• Editorial Board Member (6 Positions): Reviewing and selecting submissions. Giving authors feedback and fact-checking. Participating in weekly meetings and supporting Senior Editors.
• Marketing Coordinator (2 Positions): Promoting the journal through social media, digital, and print advertising. Developing posters and visual advertising for display on campus and around Kingston.
