Overview

Radio Producer (French Services) (On Site) – CBC/Radio-Canada is looking for a radio producer in Rimouski who will produce the afternoon show L’après-midi est à nous. The candidate will report to the Senior Manager, News and Programming, for the Lower St. Lawrence. Full-time on-site presence required.

Responsibilities

• Conceive, develop and execute program ideas and content.
• Participate in the preparation of program objectives in line with the mandate.
• Plan, organize and develop program content, including assigning and researching.
• In accordance with management objectives, determine the style, pace, tempo, lineup and format of the program.
• Be responsible and accountable for managing the program budget.
• Be curious about current digital formats and be eager to experiment with them in creating multimedia content for all Radio-Canada digital platforms.
