Position Summary
The Senior Raw Material Buyer leads strategic and operational procurement for direct raw materials, ensuring supply continuity, cost competitiveness, and supplier development, with a focus on overseas suppliers to support production and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Manage procurement of raw materials to ensure timely availability for production
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with local and international suppliers
- Lead negotiations for pricing, commercial terms, contracts, and logistics conditions
- Monitor and follow up on purchase orders to prevent supply disruptions
- Identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks
- Drive cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (planning, operations, quality, finance)
