Recreation Director – Team Leadership Role

Lead our community’s recreational initiatives as a Recreation Director, focusing on program management and team leadership. This full-time role requires onsite work with a pay of $36.06 per hour.
We are looking for an experienced Recreation Director with 2 to 3 years in the field to develop, implement, and oversee recreational programs and services. You will work closely with a team of 5-10 individuals, manage budgets, and negotiate sponsorship contracts to enhance our offerings. Strong communication and organizational skills are crucial for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and manage recreational programs
• Provide expert advice and oversight for staff
• Recruit and mentor coaches and athletes
• Develop and implement operational policies
• Monitor budgets and negotiate sponsorships
Requirements:
• College/CEGEP education qualification
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience
• Proficiency in MS Access, Excel, and Outlook
