Registered Nurse - C4 General Internal Medicine - Temporary Full-Time 2025-15400

Summary of Duties

Responsible for providing person centred care of General Medicine patients in the Integrated Community Program. The unit consists of ward and Level 1 (higher acuity) patients. The nurse works independently and collaboratively with the patient, family and interprofessional team. Functions of the nurse include but are not limited to assessment, intervention, evaluation, education, and discharge planning.

Qualifications/Skills

• Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current B.C.L.S. required, A.C.L.S. is an asset
• B.Sc.N. required
• Nursing experience in General Medicine within last two years
• Coronary Care level 1 required.
• Recent arrhythmia and cardiac monitoring preferred
• Successful completion (80% pass) on interview quiz
