Elevate maternal and newborn support at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre as a Registered Nurse in the Birthing Unit. Provide exceptional care through all stages of labor and postpartum recovery.
The RN will focus on maternal and newborn health during post-partum and active labor. Responsibilities include delivering bereavement counseling, scrubbing and circulating for cesarean sections, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure a family-centered approach. Your role will be essential in promoting the health and well-being of mothers and their infants.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide care during labor and delivery
• Offer bereavement counseling when needed
• Scrub and circulate for cesarean sections
• Collaborate with the healthcare team for optimal care
• Support the philosophy of family-centered maternity care
Requirements:
• Current CNO Registration in good standing
