Unit Summary
The Medical Day Care (MDC) located at MUMC provides treatments to patients afflicted with a wide range of disorders and chronic complex diseases in an ambulatory setting. Treatments include but are not limited to infusion, injection or clinic therapies such as; blood transfusions, Immunoglobulin transfusions, iron infusions, lumbar punctures, Remicade infusions and phlebotomy.
Position Summary
As a member of the interdisciplinary team within the Medical Day Care and the Boris Clinic, the Sub-Cutaneous Immunoglobulin Registered Nurse (SCIg RN) will coordinate the Ontario Immunoglobulin Treatment Program (ONIT).
