Registered Practical Nurse On-Call Role (Toronto)

Baycrest is seeking an On-Call Registered Practical Nurse at Terraces Assisted Living. Provide critical nursing care to enhance the lives of seniors while enjoying flexible schedule. As an RPN, you will play a fundamental role in the well-being of approximately 200 seniors, contributing to their care plans and health monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct community education and individualized counseling
• Respond effectively to emergency and urgent care situations
• Manage care for clients facing minor episodic illness
• Educate and monitor clients with stabilized chronic illnesses

Requirements

• Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current BCLS Level C-AED certification
• Two years’ experience specifically in gerontological nursing
• Five years’ experience in primary and acute care settings
• Strong communication and client service abilities
