Extendicare is seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse to provide quality care in a part time capacity. Deliver patient-centered nursing as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
Reporting to the Director of Care, this role focuses on fulfilling personalized care goals while ensuring compliance with provincial standards. Ideal candidates will leverage strong clinical knowledge and communication skills, effectively coordinating care plans and responding to resident needs to enhance their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform thorough clinical assessments for residents
• Safeguard medication and treatment administration
• Develop and implement resident care plans with the team
• Educate residents and families about care processes
• Address medical emergencies with prompt first aid responses
