About this team
We are a -bed surgical oncology unit providing post-operative care to patients who have undergone GI, breast, or urology surgery. Admissions to our unit come via our Emergency Department, ICU, and PACU teams. Typical patient ratios for nurses on our team are 4:1 on days and 6:1 on nights. The patient population is predominantly surgical oncology (including retroperitoneal, pelvic, visceral, sarcomas, gastrointestinal stromal tumors, colorectal cancer, breast cancer, thyroid cancer),...
