Registered Psychiatric Nurse/ Registered Nurse (N2) - PY1 MH Inpatient Child & Adolescent

Position Overview

Under the general supervision of the Manager Health Services, the RPN/RN is responsible for providing professional nursing services for patients, including those with complex and unpredictable health needs. Services include independent nursing services, administration of interventions and treatments, leadership within the healthcare team, and facilitation of coordination of patient care and discharge.

Experience

RPN/RN – Recent, related mental health experience preferred.

Education

Graduate of an approved Registered Psychiatric Nursing program or approved Registered Nursing program required.

Certification and Licensure

• Maintain active registration with the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Manitoba (CRPNM) or the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM).
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training in accordance with employer policy.
