Rehabilitation Assistant

Overview

The Rehabilitation Assistant assists with client treatment and duties which promote client well-being and mobility. The incumbent will be responsible for the inventory, maintenance and ordering of equipment as required. The position functions in a manner consistent with the mission, vision and values and the policies of Southern Health-Santé Sud.

Responsibilities

• Assist with client treatment and duties that promote client well-being and mobility.
• Manage inventory, maintenance and ordering of equipment as required.
• Exercise appropriate initiative and independent judgment in determining work priorities and methods, and act on unusual matters as needed.
• Work in accordance with organizational policies and values.

Education

• Grade twelve (12) education or equivalent.
• Graduate of a Rehabilitation Assistant course.
