Rehabilitation Medicine Consultant (100-2744)

The Island Health Division of Rehabilitation Medicine has an opening for a Rehabilitation Consultant to join 8 others in providing a consultative service at Victoria General Hospital, with possible coverage at Royal Jubilee Hospital and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities: Provide rehabilitation services for patients with neurological diseases, post-traumatic impairments, and amputations in hospital-based and outpatient settings. Collaborate with the hospital’s full range of medical, surgical, and psychiatric specialists and diagnostic services (including x-rays, nuclear medicine, sonography, CT, and MRI) and access to epidural and facet injection services.

Qualifications: Expertise and interest in the rehabilitation of individuals with neurological diseases, post-traumatic impairments and amputations; experience in hospital-based practice and outpatient settings; ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
