Renal Nurse - Northern MB Registered Nurse (Nurses in Northern Manitoba)

New Grant-Funded Continuing Part-Time

0 to 20.00 hours/week Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Salary Range: $41.01 - $50.30 per hour

Proposed Start Date: February 5, 2024

Responsibilities:

• Performs hemo-dialysis as scheduled.
• Participates in specialty clinics locally or in urban centers as scheduled.
• Performs routine primary care treatments, such as:
• Conducts foot assessments and dressings.
• Removes sutures.
• Administers IM and SC injections.
• Screens patients for early signs of renal failure and/or diabetes problems.
• Liaises with primary care clinic staff, physicians, consultants, social workers, Community Health Nurses...
