We are seeking an energetic, community‑minded reporter with a passion for writing accurate and engaging stories to cover all Town of Rocky news and related assignments.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct themselves in a respectful manner and dress appropriately.
• Cover all Town of Rocky news, including regular council meetings (first and third Tuesdays of the month).
• Generate content for special sections.
• Write and photograph breaking news, sports, industry coverage, politics, feature, and outdoor/environmental assignments.
• Work flex‑time, including some weekend and evening assignments.

Qualifications:

• Journalism diploma or certificate.
• Adherence to journalism ethics and the news media code of practice.
