The Role
This is a full-time, 1-year fixed term Research Assistant position at the Translational and Clinical Research Institute at the Faculty of Medical Science and provides an exciting opportunity for an early career scientist who is interested in developing Apps using wearable technology and novel machine learning techniques for tracking and managing fatigue in long term conditions. You will join an interdisciplinary group (DIAN Research Group) who has an established international reputation in mobility analysis, digital health outcomes and wearable technology advanced analytics. You will work as part of the Digital healthcare Applications for Translational Advancement Team: ) supporting the Newcastle NIHR BRC Industry Project “Digital Technologies for Managing Chronic Fatigue: Wearable Devices and Smartphone App” led by Dr Silvia Del Din. The project is funded though the Newcastle NIHR BRC.
