Resident Engineer

Assignment location: Reynosa- DeWalt.
- Provide on-site resident engineering support.
- Conduct technical investigations and determine the need for design changes.
- Recommend and qualify solutions to issues and provide engineering documentation as needed.
- Approval authority for all proposed material substitutions.
- Generate and lead specific projects in support of warranty, reliability, total cost and quality improvement objectives.
- Participate in the disposition of deviant materials and components.Disposition First Piece Inspection discrepancies for mature products.
- Drive manufacturing and supplier use of and adherence to REA process.
- Lead the warranty reduction process.
**Education and Experience**:- BS or equivalent in engineering discipline.
- 2 years' experience in design of high-volume electromechanical system.
- 4 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
