Residential Community Support Workers (Penticton/Summerland - Casual Pool)

Overview

Taproot Community Support Services is an employee‑owned organization operating across Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario. The Okanagan Community Living Residential Service provides support to individuals with developmental disabilities in Penticton and Summerland. The program offers residential care, in‑house programming, and community inclusion activities. Residents have their own suites and access to public transportation or a program vehicle.

The Position

We are currently hiring for the following casual/on‑call roles, with opportunities to transition to part‑time or full‑time positions as they become available:

• Residence Workers (Grid 10)
• Awake Residential Night Workers (Grid 6)

All positions require union membership with BCGEU.
