Responsibilities include:

• Supervise and coordinate activities of workers
• Hire, train, or arrange training for staff
• Order merchandise
• Establish work schedules
• Sell merchandise
• Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages
• Organize and maintain inventory

Support for youths:

• Offer on‑the‑job training tailored to youth
• Provide mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for youth
• Offer awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth

Supervision: Retail salespersons and sales clerks

Work site environment: First Nations settlements

Work setting: Rural area, remote location, willing to relocate, no fly‑in/fly‑out, no rotational arrangements, supermarket/grocery store
