Program Worker - Youth and Family - Elementary

Position: Program Worker - Youth and Family - Elementary (30 hrs per week, Monday to Friday). Current rate: $34.07 plus 16.3% in lieu of benefits. Locations may change.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts in Child and Youth Care, Social Work, or related discipline.
• Relevant coursework in interpersonal communication, counselling theory, CPI preferred, and at least two of: child and adolescent psychology, behavioural change theories, family systems (domestic violence, family conflict, substance abuse), abnormal psychology, group processes.
• Minimum two years of experience working with at‑risk children and youth.
• Skills in collaboration, consultation, and facilitation among schools and community agencies.
