Responsibilities
- Provides support to the safety program, policy development and implementation.
- Provides general coordination and administrative support to the safety department.
- Liaises with the training department in developing safety‑related training materials and ensures they align with regulatory and safety program requirements.
- Provides communications for the programs and services within the Safety, Environment and Emergency Management department.
- Promotes the programs; responds to employee, management and other internal or external stakeholder inquiries and interprets policies, procedures and the collective agreement provisions.
- Supports and coordinates the implementation of incident investigation and audit compliance.
- Provides support to managers and supervisors to facilitate implementation of programs in different departments.
