Safety Manager, Trucking & Fleet Operations (DOT Compliance)

We are seeking a Safety Manager to lead fleet safety and compliance within a commercial trucking operation.

This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for enforcing DOT and FMCSA compliance, improving driver safety, and reducing operational risk across an asset‑based fleet. You will play a critical role in driving safety performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fleet safety programs to ensure compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations (root cause + corrective action)
• Develop and enforce driver safety policies, procedures, and compliance standards
• Monitor driver behavior, logs, and performance to ensure regulatory adherence
